Lakewood City Schools' Board of Education is currently considering whether to close and repurpose one or even two of Lakewood's seven neighborhood elementary schools - some of our community's most precious assets. Lincoln, Grant, and Roosevelt are being considered.
Preserve Lakewood Schools is now working to keep all of these publicly funded buildings operating as-is, along with advocating to restore transparency and strategy to the Lakewood Board of Education.
This is a pivotal moment. Join us for a Month of Action to stand up for Lakewood's children, schools, and community. Together, we can make a difference.
