Thank You, Lakewood

On Tuesday, over 3,900 Lakewoodites showed up and voted for Monica and Katie, and we came within a few percentage points of claiming our first seat at the table on Lakewood’s School Board. Wow! We are proud of the grassroots movement you all helped to create.

While the election did not bring about the change in School Board leadership we hoped to see, it was a monumental milestone nonetheless. In less than a year, we’ve grown from a small group of parents from several neighborhood schools into a citywide movement.
