Election Day is coming up on November 4, and we're working to get the word out about Katie Slife Rustad and Monica Bruaw, Preserve Lakewood Schools' endorsed candidates for Lakewood's school board.

Our goal is to raise an additional $1,000 before end of day Wednesday, October 22, to fund printing additional postcards for our canvassers to hand out, to let more Lakewood voters know why Monica and Katie are the best candidates for the job.​​

Preserve Lakewood Schools is a grassroots coalition formed by concerned taxpayers (parents, educators, local business owners, and community members) united around a shared vision: a thriving, walkable, neighborhood-based education for every Lakewood child.
The formation of Preserve Lakewood Schools Political Action Committee (PAC) marks a new chapter in our ongoing mission to advocate for the future of Lakewood’s public neighborhood schools, with emphasis on advocating for strategic planning, good governance, transparency, community collaboration, and accountability from Lakewood City Schools leadership.

Your gift today will allow Preserve Lakewood School PAC to continue the growing momentum and community demand for change in Lakewood City Schools’ leadership and governance, and will make a greater impact in our work to engage Lakewood residents, inspire them to raise their voices, and advocate for accountability from our elected leaders.

In the coming months, we'll continue initiatives such as distributing yard signs, literature drops, hosting community events, and packing Board of Education meetings - all as dedicated volunteers and concerned citizens.
