Lakewood resident Parker shares why closing Harrison's Pre-K and moving all Pre-K classrooms to a consolidated building would be devastating to Birdtown's (and all of south Lakewood's) youngest residents, limiting, and in some cases preventing, access to early childhood education for many children in the neighborhood.
Election Day is coming up soon on November 4. You can make a difference today by donating to Preserve Lakewood Schools, to fund our postcard mailing efforts to promote our endorsed school board candidates Katie Slife Rustad and Monica Bruaw, who would work actively to prevent the closure of Lincoln Elementary and repurposing of the building into a centralized Pre-K building.
